Ministry of the Laity
The ministry of the laity is the work of mission or ministry to which each believer is called. As Christians we are all called to this ministry or priesthood – not just clergy. Each of us has a responsibility to proclaim the Good News and reach out to others in love.
The St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, located at 4300 North Shepherd Dr., Houston 77018, has graciously offered to serve as our host. The early registration fee is $25 through January 19th and late registration fee from January 20th through January 31st will be $30. These fees will help to cover the cost of the materials, books and meals.
Workshop Registration
- Registration is required for EVERYONE.
- Each person must register individually.
- Lay Servants Training will be held on February 18th and 25th, 2017.
- All participants must come on BOTH DAYS to receive their certification.
